Using photos to make your decision
It’s important to find gastric balloon before and after photographs of clients that have similar body types to yours, so if you don’t see these right away, don’t hesitate to ask for additional pictures so you can make the best choice possible moving forward. In some cases, you may be able to actually meet and talk with former Athenix patients who have completed our gastric balloon program, depending on their availability and consent.
While many clients are initially focused on problems with their appearance, being overweight can affect you in many other ways that aren’t as obvious. Feeling easily fatigued, suffering from obesity-related ailments such as hypertension or diabetes, not being able to play with your kids, or struggling to combat depression can all be factors that motivate you to seek help just as much as the desire to look better.
